Last weekend we expanded our family!

Here's my take on the big day.

I apologize to Keith and the Groomsmen for dragging you guys out into the hot sun to take these photos.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I wasn't wearing the 3 piece suit.

Something borrowed

Boy, this was a fun wedding.  The food was sooo tasty--pumpkin soup, breaded chicken breast stuffed with wild rice and chocolate cake!  

Keith and Jessica, thanks for inviting us and hope to see you guys again real soon.

Beans!

I was testing out some of our camping gear the other day, and thought this pattern of leaves on our tent was nice.  This picture kind of makes my eyes water though. 

We grew beans in our yard this year, both green ones and purple ones.

I didn't realize that purple beans actually change to green after being cooked.

I guess those purple beans are green beans at heart!

By the way, we have an Ironman in the family.

The Malaysians are Here

A few weeks ago, our relatives arrived in Calgary.  Roger, Mamma G and I headed down to welcome them.  While we were there, we stayed with Brendan and Erin.  

Erin made us feel welcome by personally selecting each of us a stuffy to sleep with, and Brendan taught me a lot about Scales (the Ninjago kind, not the musical kind)

We also headed out to Troll Falls for a short mountain stroll

Although we didn't stroll very far or very fast, we still managed to work up an appetite, and we were treated to one of Raymond's famous steak BBQs.
